It's easy to use TetherLock.

1. Just insert a FireWire or USB Cable into one of TetherLock’s 3 different -sized cable slots.

2. Tighten TetherLock in place by using the standard Tripod socket found on the bottom of most digital SLR cameras.

3. Plug in the Fire or USB cable end closest to the camera’s own cable port and then plug the other end of the cable into a computer.

What's new in Version 2?

This updated version now has more added cable slots. So now TetherLock will work with both 135mm and Medium format Camera systems. The bottom of the mount has also been improved with a better gripping base, so most quick release plates will stay even more firmly in-place.
